Mason’s Extraordinary Fundraising

Mason Morgan was an incredible fundraiser who took on multiple marathons to raise funds for Guy’s Cancer Charity and Macmillan Cancer Support, all while navigating life with an incurable brain tumour.

In September 2022, Mason was diagnosed with a high-grade brain tumour. Despite facing the harsh reality of a terminal and incurable condition, he embarked on a journey of resilience, determination, and hope.

Mason set out to raise awareness about brain tumours and to help improve patient outcomes in the future. He committed to raising funds for Guy’s Cancer Charity and Macmillan Cancer Support. Over the course of a year, Mason completed a series of inspiring challenges, such as the ASICS 10k, Royal Parks Half Marathon, and London Landmarks Half Marathon. Every step and every mile was a powerful testament to Mason’s unwavering determination to make a difference in the fight against cancer.

My ambitions are to raise awareness of brain tumours, increase the data that is available because it is currently insufficient, and help contribute to a social shift that makes people more aware of brain tumours. Albeit my diagnosis being poor, I don't want to let cancer define me, and I will try my utmost to battle it and be like the old me as much as possible.
