It's up to you

We’re here for our supporters, helping them create even more moments of progress, like Rex’s record and Juliet’s golf day. We’re here for you, whatever you want to do.

If taking part in an organised fundraising event, like running a marathon, isn’t for you, we’ll help you create your own challenge, and support every moment of progress you make.

Whatever you do and however you do it, you’ll be helping us to fund pioneering approaches at Guy’s Cancer, and invest in the very best equipment and technology to advance cancer care.

How do I set up my own fundraising challenge?

  • Register your event and create your own fundraising page so friends and family can support you.
  • Have fun at your event!
  • Pay in the money you’ve raised to help support personalised cancer care.
  • Enjoy your event – don’t forget to take lots of photos, we can’t wait to see them!

Here are a few ideas to help you get started…

Do what you love

If you enjoy baking, drawing, or singing, why not use your skills to do some fundraising? Like Rex (pictured), who released a charity record to say thank you to the committed team who are providing him with ongoing treatment and care for prostate cancer.

You could paint a pet portrait as an auction prize, organise a bake sale in your office, or put on a variety show for your community.  Whatever you like to do, you can use your passion to help people facing cancer and the tireless Guy’s Cancer team who care for them.

Get active to give back

Want to get moving? Create your own active challenge, like Juliet (pictured right), who organised a sponsored golf day and an auction in memory of her golf-loving husband Stuart, who was cared for by Guy’s Cancer when he was diagnosed with kidney cancer.

You don’t have to follow in Juliet’s footsteps. You could do whatever suits you, from a 10K walk to a 30-day fitness challenge or take on your own urban triathlon.

Your fundraising, your way

There are so many ways to raise money for Guy’s Cancer. Organise the pub quiz to end all pub quizzes or sign up for a sponsored silence – just don’t do both at the same time.

Or how about a classic charity challenge, like shaving your head? Whatever you decide to do, we’ll be with you every step of the way. Even if you’re wearing clown shoes.
