Mason’s Extraordinary Fundraising
Mason Morgan is an incredible fundraiser, who is taking on multiple marathons to raise funds for Guy’s Cancer Charity and Macmillan Cancer Support, all whilst navigating life with an incurable brain tumour.
Mason Morgan is currently on a mission to raise awareness about brain tumours and to contribute towards improving patient outcomes for the future.
In September 2022, Mason was diagnosed with a high-grade brain tumour. Despite facing the harsh reality of a terminal and incurable condition, he embarked on a journey of resilience, determination, and hope.
In Mason’s commitment to raising funds for Guy’s Cancer Charity and Macmillan Cancer Support, over the past year he has taken on a series of daunting challenges, such as the ASICS 10k, Royal Parks Half Marathon, and London Landmarks Half Marathon. Looking ahead, Mason has set his sights on an impressive line-up of events for 2024, including marathons in London, Prague, Stockholm, Budapest, Oslo, and New York, as well as a challenging climb up Kilimanjaro. Each step, each mile, is a testament to Mason’s determination to make a difference in the fight against cancer.
My ambitions are to raise awareness of brain tumours, increase the data that is available because it is currently insufficient, and help contribute to a social shift that makes people more aware of brain tumours. Albeit my diagnosis being poor, I don't want to let cancer define me, and I will try my utmost to battle it and be like the old me as much as possible.
