Take on an Ultra Challenge in 2026

Great challenges deserve unforgettable settings, you and up to 2,000 fellow adventurers will take on the Isle of Wight’s beautiful coastal paths, all pushing themselves to go further.

The route follows the spectacular southern cliffs, passes the iconic Needles, and heads towards to historic Cowes. For those tackling the full island challenge, the journey continues on to Ventnor before returning to basecamp in Chale after a remarkable 100km adventure.

Take on the Jurassic Coast Challenge, this Ultra is on the spectacular World Heritage coastline!

Starting at Corfe Castle, the route heads down to Swanage, and along through Lulworth Cove, past Durdle Door, with ups and downs to Weymouth half way.

For those doing the full 100km challenge, you’ll continue to Portland Bill, then Chesil Beach, and then on to West Bay – before an amazing finish line celebration in the vibrant town of Bridport.

This is also known as the ‘original Ultra Challenge’ – and once again over 2,000 adventurers will take on the Capital to Coast route and test their endurance and determination over the weekend.

Starting at Richmond-Upon-Thames, you and other adventurers will head to North Downs with wonderful Surrey and Sussex countryside to half way at Turners Hill. The full 100km route will take you over the South Downs before the welcome sight of the Brighton coastline comes into view.

Take on some of England’s finest countryside at your own pace on this unforgettable 100km challenge.

Starting and finishing at the Kendal basecamp, the 100km loop route includes tough hill climbs, the iconic Garburn Pass, and the historic town of Ambleside. Challengers reach the halfway point when they get to Lake Windermere before continuing through forests and nature reserves, with stunning views throughout the journey. The adventure ends back at basecamp with a huge welcome and well deserved celebration.

Take on the ultimate Cotswolds Ultra Challenge with the 100km loop starting and finishing at the Cirencester basecamp.

This scenic route takes challengers through the heart of the Cotswolds, combining rolling hills, picturesque villages, and trails along the famous Cotswold Way.

Set off from Scarborough basecamp and take on a stunning coastal and moorland challenge at your pace, as a walk, jog, or run.

The route circles Scarborough before heading north along the Cleveland Way, passing the scenic Robin Hood’s Bay and continuing to Whitby, with a 50km halfway stop to recharge before finishing the journey.

Starting in idyllic Bakewell where you will join over 3,000 fellow adventurers who will test themselves in the remarkable Peak District National Park.

There’s a range of camping options, car parking, hospitality and welfare services across the weekend – with a full 100km Challenge which takes a tough and varied figure of 8 route through Derbyshire’s finest scenery.

An ultra challenge in the stunning Gower Peninsula, it’s the UK’s first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and famous for its golden beaches, limestone cliffs, wild moors, ridges, and woodlands.

Starting in the grounds of the historic Penrice Castle, this 100km challenge follows a figure of 8 route, with west and east loops that showcase the best of the Peninsula — its history and its varied, unique landscape.

Taking in the opening Minehead section of the famous 630-mile South West Coast Path, the route passes beneath the impressive Dunster Castle.

The 50km loop then heads across Exmoor, with plenty of ups and downs and over 1,600 metres of climb, delivering some truly magnificent views along the way.

Starting at Eastbourne, then up Beachy Head, then the magnificent Seven Sisters, and along the South Downs Way, with stunning views over the sea, to a Brighton half-way. Devil’s Dyke, and a few ups and downs lie ahead before Arundel comes into view after an incredible 100km journey.

Trek 25 km across the capital with unrivalled views of the skyline and landmarks!

Starting from Putney Bridge, it’s East towards the City, zigzagging over 16 historic bridges, each with a fascinating story – and a mid-point rest stop at The Oval Cricket Ground for refreshments. 25 km later, beyond the majestic Tower Bridge, it’s a party style finish line celebration and afternoon picnic in Southwark Park.

Trekking England’s iconic river provides a fantastic backdrop for an unforgettable challenge, which you can take on at your pace.

Over 3,000 adventurers will join you to set off from Putney Bridge, and the full 100km route heads upstream to Henley along the famous Towpath. It’s through Richmond, Hampton Court, Runnymede, and Windsor, with some wonderful scenery to a riverside finish line.

This 50km looped challenge is in some of the Chilterns finest countryside, with historic trails, rolling hills, nature reserves, and amazing views.

The basecamp is in Henley and includes a Saturday night celebration BBQ, bar, and entertainment, along with extensive on-site camping and parking options. With real variety and wonderful scenery, this is a challenge not to miss — and it’s easily accessible from London.

Take on a 50km looped challenge through the Kent Downs, starting from a basecamp near Maidstone with parking and weekend camping.

The route heads anticlockwise along the North Downs Way to Blue Bell Hill, through Aylesford, follows the River Medway to Mote Park for a halfway stop, then continues via the Len Valley Walk to Leeds Castle before finishing back at the showground for a celebration.
